[EN] As Lead Artist, I oversaw the art and animation team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of requirements with other teams such as programming, game design, and the client. The game features two visual styles: a detailed one for dialogue art and publicity and a simplified one for gameplay. The production process began with a detailed design of the main characters for dialogue, followed by simplifying these designs. Subsequently, the simplified designs were passed to the animation team.

[EN] I took on the responsibility for the simplified designs, allowing me to act as a bridge between professionals in the two other stages of production: character design and animation. I worked to ensure that all necessary adaptations for the smooth functioning of the process were guaranteed.

[EN] The simplified design process involved utilizing Photoshop and Illustrator. In Photoshop, I handled sketching and design decisions, while in Illustrator, I finalized the artwork, keeping animation considerations in mind and separating each character part accordingly.

[EN] We had 11 main characters who underwent the redesign process. They are Gully, Donar, Grim, Brinnia, Konan, Freya, Alfrik, Galar, Gebardo, and Fafnir.

[EN] In addition to the main characters, various enemies, NPCs, creatures and weapons needed to be created for the story arcs and to adjust the game's level design. In this case, I was tasked with creating the original designs for these characters and weapons.

[EN] Due to the short time, we had to complete the project, I've helped with some animations too. Specifically, I undertook the task of animating Luna, the protagonist, focusing on her run cycle. Additionally, I was entrusted with animating all aspects of a particular enemy, the kelpie, encompassing its walk cycle, attack sequence, transformation, defeat, and idle.

[PT] Devido o curto tempo que tivemos para completar o projeto, eu acabei ajudando com algumas animações também. Especificamente, assumi a tarefa de animar Luna, a protagonista, concentrando-me em seu ciclo de corrida. Além disso, fui encarregado de animar todos os aspectos de um inimigo específico, o kelpie, abrangendo seu ciclo de caminhada, sequência de ataque, transformação, derrota e espera.
[EN] Even though my main function was related to illustration and concept, I was always in contact with the animators, sometimes receiving feedback about the character's assets and sometimes helping with some rough animation ideas to make clear what were my intentions, during the creation process.

[EN] Last but not least, I took some VFX and compositing animation. During her Journey, Luna learns different types of magic. We used some pre-animated VFX and original animations combined to create pretty cool magic attacks.
